Card Designs — First Gulf Libyan Bank
A proposed set of three bank cards inspired by Libyan heritage landmarks carved in crystal: the Red Castle, the Arch of Septimius Severus, and the Theatre of Apollonia.
This is a design proposal presented to the client and has not yet been officially approved.
The Challenge
A card is the part of a bank's identity customers carry every day. We wanted a premium design worthy of business and corporate clients, with an unmistakably Libyan character, in harmony with the bank's red and navy colors.
The Solution
Three designs, each carrying a Libyan landmark carved in crystal: the Red Castle in ruby, the Arch of Septimius Severus in an indigo crystal close to the bank's navy, and the Theatre of Apollonia in clear crystal with navy print. We presented the proposal as an interactive scroll-driven showcase that moves between the cards.
